he is having a slump. The current Koro1 is nothing like the Koro1 we saw in spring and MSI.

while AJ played bad, EDG qualified worlds with AJ and lost to LGD 0:3 with Koro1

according to Meiko and Clearlove, Koro1 performed worse than AJ in scrims

he had an argument with EDG's management after MSI

So I don't think it's a planned move.

I already know this will happen, i dont have nothing against AmazingJ (or just J xD) but he was not playing well at all, Koro1 should get a chance and if he doesnt work then EDG well lost but al least they try it

Desperation move. There was no reason to start amazingj in groups if he was worse than koro1 when they clearly wanted to beat SKT. Lpl fanboys logic is that if he got bodied by marin hes a shitter.Go watch EDG vs BKT it was a team flop not an amazingJ flop.

koro1 was benched not based on performance (at first) he was benched because of his "ridiculous" request to increase his salary after MSI which was denied by EDG and then EDG in response to that brought in AmazingJ and later Ray for top lane.

Koro is a big improvement for sure but not every EDG problems were related to MediocreJ. CL is certainly not playing the best tournament of his life, Meiko did some strange re-engage with "faith call". The whole team had a pretty poor performance vs BKT for the second game.EDG is still big favorite but its not the same "MSI EDG".

pawn has medical issues as well but he eventually was put back onto the starting roster after weeks of treatment, they could've helped koro recover in that method if they wanted to but they were planning on letting him go from what i gather.

No, this doesn't change much considering the reason Koro got benched was he didn't fit the meta. EDG got destroyed in the LPL Summer playoffs when Koro played top. They switched to AmazingJ for the qualifier to get into Worlds where they destroyed Snake and IG. 
This is a desperation move from EDG and if I were Fnatic I wouldn't mind this one bit.
